The NEXT card party…

August 4, 2012

Hi, everyone! I’m very excited to schedule another “Operation Write Home” card making party this month. I was going to have it at my house, but the wonderful Debbie Bick at FRENZY STAMPER  in Scottsdale has offered her store for the occasion! What a treat! Okay, so here’s the deal:

Operation Write HomeSaturday, August 18, 2012
1:00 – 4:00 p.m.

Frenzy Stamper
7064 E. 5th Avenue
Scottsdale, AZ

I will be providing [hundreds of] A2 size card blanks (white and colored), envelopes, solid and print panels and mattes that you can mix and match to come up with your own amazingly creative card designs!

Debbie will be offering for use  the Frenzy Stamper classroom, her vast collection of stamps, and possibly some cutting tools/dies…

You need to bring: adhesive, ink pads, small paper trimmer.
Optional extras: favorite embellishments such as brads, flowers, fibers, etc. (No glitter, however.) Feel free to bring your own stash of scrap papers to use up; favorite pre-stamped and colored focal images if you like. (You know, your growing collection of practice Copic-colored images?!)  If you have your own favorite card sentiment stamps, bring those, too.
There will be samples and lots of card sketches available to stimulate your imagination.

The kinds of cards we need most are general: love you, miss you, thinking of you, happy birthday, congrats, thank you, and blank — design, with no sentiment. (No holiday cards yet.) All of these cards will be A2 size, for our military heroes to write messages home to their loved ones.
Also needed are “Hero Mail” cards and letters — where we express our thanks and encouragement to our service men and women. These can be any size, not limited to A2; and can even be written and colored by children.

RSVP: If you would like us to save you a seat, please let me know by email: LynnMath@aol.com
(Also, if you have any questions, I’d be happy to answer by email.)

I hope to see a nice crowd there!
